The Descendents soundtrack
Here’s a great story from earlier this year about The Descendents soundtrack and how it featured “Real” Hawaiian music, including songs from great Hawaiian music talents like Gabby Pahinui, Keola Beamer, Jeff Peterson, and more!
Also, if you saw the movie (or plan to watch it still), Mountain Apple’s Anthony Natividad also has a song featured during the film!
You can also listen to the audio version that was on NPR! http://www.npr.org/blogs/therecord/2012/01/08/144804932/soundtracking-the-descendants-with-real-hawaiian-music
Over Hawai`i: Soundtrack & DVD

Over Hawai’i
Seattle fans! Tune in to KCTS this Saturday to watch Over Hawai’i. This two hour program is an off-the-beaten-path tour of Hawai‘i’s six major islands: Hawai‘i Island, Maui, Lāna‘i, Moloka‘i, O‘ahu and Kaua‘i. It’s the next best thing to being here!
To accompany the beautiful sights of the islands, Mountain Apple Company provided the music for the soundtrack! Available at the KCTS webstore: http://www.channel9store.com/p
