The Mountain Apple Company is proud to announce the long-awaited second CD release from Hawaiian falsetto singer Leokane Pryor entitled Home Malanai. Delighted to add “and friends” to his album credit, Pryor acknowledges the many talented singers, musicians and songwriters that perfected this sparkling collection of traditional and original songs. Beautifully mixed and mastered by award-winning engineer Dave Tucciarone, Home Malanai showcases Pryor’s exquisite falsetto as well as his rich baritone that blend together to create a brilliant vocal rainbow.

Home Malanai features eight original songs including compositions by Suzanne Case, director of the Hawai‘i Nature Conservancy, songwriter Kirk Livingston of San Francisco, esteemed Hawaiian language expert Kaliko Beamer Trapp, and the notable kumu hula, performer and Hawaiian cultural educator Charles Ka‘upu (composer of the title track “Home Malanai”). Home Malanai also features the beautiful vocals of Puna Keli‘iho‘omalu of Kaimu, Hawai‘i, and CJ “Boom” Helekahi and Lee-Ann Ka‘ohelani Paman of Hana, Maui.
