Del Beazley

Del Beazley, also known as “THE BEAZ,” is a six-time Nä Hökü Hanohano Award-winning singer, songwriter, composer, and arranger.

Coming from a musical family—both his parents and all his siblings have musical talents—Beazley learned to play the ‘ukulele at a very young age from his grandparents. Growing up in Makaha, Beazley was always surrounded by Hawaiian music, and drew influence from artists like The Sunday Mänoa, Gabe Kila, Reggie Berdon, and the Makaha Sons of Ni’ihau.

When he was 14, Beazley learned how to play the guitar from Par Cockett, a teacher at Waianae High School who also taught Beazley how to play slack key. Since then, acoustic string instruments like the guitar and the ‘ukulele have been recurring staples of Beazley’s music. They are the instruments with which he feels most comfortable.
Beazley has played with the likes of Israel Kamakawiwo‘ole, the Makaha Sons of Ni‘ihau, Teresa Bright, Sean Na’auao, and the group 3D with fellow musicians Kawika Kahiapo and Dwight Kanae. He has toured in and around Hawai‘i, the mainland West Coast, and Japan, and he is also credited with having written the IZ classic, “Hawaiian Supa Man,” as well as the songs “Johnny Mahoe,” “Men Who Ride Mountains,” “Punani Patrol,” and “Aloha No More.”

All For One is the long-awaited fifth solo album from award-winning entertainer Del Beazley. His first solo project in nine years, this 11-track album features traditional Hawaiian hymns from the Kawaiaha`o hymnal. All songs on the album were recorded in Hawaiian, with the exception of "God Sent An Angel."
